Remembering Dr. Yuriy Dobry

Dr. Yuriy Dobry was more than a brilliant physician — he was a man of immense compassion, resilience, and quiet strength. Born in the Soviet Union with roots in Ukraine, Russia, and Jewish heritage, Yuriy migrated to the United States with his family in search of opportunity and freedom.

He dedicated his life to the mental wellbeing of others, building a career rooted in empathy and care. Yuriy’s work was more than a profession — it was a calling. His patients often described him as someone who truly listened and genuinely cared.

At home, he was a loving husband and a doting father who dreamed of building a future filled with purpose for his children. His loss is immeasurable, but his legacy continues — not only through the lives he touched, but through the mission of this foundation.

 

Yuriy is lovingly remembered by his father, devoted wife, and beloved children. He was preceded in death by his dear mother and faithful dog, who both passed away recently.
